GA Release - December 2019
The list below represents the features, updates, and fixes included in the Orbita Voice GA Release for December 2019.
What's new
BREAKING CHANGES
In Flow Studio > Options (Choose one) control > Directive tab, added a checkbox with the label "Include choice options in the voice output".
This option allows the Voice assistants to read the options.
You can select the “Say number Before Option” only after checking the “Include choice options in the voice output”. This option will let the voice assistants read a number before every option.
By default "Include choice options in the voice output" and "Say Number Before Option" will be unchecked.
New Nodes
Answers Upload node. This node is for uploading content into the Orbita Answers Knowledgebase through Experience Designer flows.
Orbita NLP node. Using this node, the Voice Experience Developers can extract the Lists, Slot Values, and Synonyms from the user’s utterances. How to use NLP node
Experience Manager
The browser tab name reflects the Organization name is specified in Organization Settings. The default name is Orbita Experience Manager.
The Header size is limited to 48 KB. The header size will be increased due to the addition of whitelisted URLs in the Global menu > Organisation > Application settings.
Experience Designer
The Flow Manager node output payload includes the flow name at msg.payload.flowName and the flow description at msg.payload.flowDescription.
You can request Orbita to add your custom flows to the Orbita Flows folder (screenshot).
In the below screenshot, the flow named Sample.json is present in the folder Orbita Flows-(BETA).The flows present in the folder Orbtia Flows can be accessed by the Voice Experience developers in any Project’s Experience Designer within the environment.
Added a new button in the http in node that copies the chatbot URL.
In Answers node, added a new field to allow users to set a default relationship.
Answers
By default, Facts are listed in Alphabetical order based on Topic names. If each fact contains multiple topics, the topics will be in Alphabetical order separated by a comma. The user can choose to display the facts in reverse Alphabetical order also.
Exporting the K-Graph now includes the Utterances from the Question tab in the Facts section.
Added a Relationship values column in the Interrogative listing page,
Added a filter, Modified at, on the Facts listing page.
Bulk add/edit option made available for Interrogatives.
Flow Studio
Directive tab added to the End control.
General Improvements
Youtube videos can be played in both Say node and the Facts.
Dialog is renamed as Simple FAQ. Bulk add of utterances in Simple FAQ screen won’t add hard spaces.
For new projects, removed the error message on the Alexa Deployment screen.
Fixed the bug that logs out the users while deleting data.
The slot value and slot synonyms of an utterance can be found in the same output payload path msg.payload.orbita.intent.slots for both providers (Alexa and Google).
Fixed the bug that disabled the mic input of the chatbot.
Admin users can now deploy skills with the interaction model size greater than 1 MB.
Added delete icon to the first slot value in the Lists screen.
Empty p tags that are tagged before and after in the flow studio chat text responses are removed from the output payload.
Fixed the bug that doesn't allow users to save the value '0' in the Number field.
Special characters in the Voice tab or the Text tab of multimodal content editor gets rendered in the chatbot.
In Prototypes, fixed the bug related to the sharing of the prototype.
Fixed the image upload bug in the content.
Fixed the UI bug that doesn’t show participants added to a calendar.
Exporting an intent from the Experience designer will export only the slots that are used in that intent.
Removed the empty p tags that are appended in the output of the chat text from Flow studio.
You will no longer see the error message while disconnecting and deploying to Alexa with a different account.
