How do I index or re-index the documents?

In Orbita, indexing is the addition of contents/documents of a schema or taxonomy to the elastic search. Newly created documents or Editing/Deleting the existing documents should be indexed.

As the indexing feature was added recently, any schemas or taxonomy trees that were generated earlier can be Re-indexed the same way as indexing.

Indexing schemas

  1. Login to Experience Manager.

  2. Select a Project.

  3. Select Schemas.

  4. Add a new schema or select a schema from the list.

  5. Select Index Documents from the hamburger menu on the right bottom corner of the screen.

A popup notification appears at the bottom of the screen after the indexing is completed.

Only for the schemas that have the Schema type as Content can be indexed.

Indexing a taxonomy

Creating/Editing/Deleting nodes in Taxonomy are automatically indexed.

To index the entire Taxonomy tree, go to the JSON view of taxonomy and save it.
