Knowledge Base: Update Answer of Existing Fact 

Development Environment

  1. Within your Orbita project, navigate to Create > Answers and select the Knowledge Base you would like to edit, and then the Fact.

  2. In the Answer section, update the Text section first in just one location:

    1.  Chat Text 

  3. Copy the Text answer and paste it within the Voice tab in two sections:

    1. Say Text 

    2. Reprompt 

  4. Click the check mark at the bottom right to save the Fact

  5. Open the Dev Chatbot to review the updated answer appearance in chatbot 

Migrate to Stage 

Now we will copy the content over from the Development environment to the Stage environment.

  1. Open the Dev environment as well as the Stage environment.

  2. Navigate to the Fact that you have made changes to

  3. Copy over the Dev answer from the AnswerText tab and update in one location first within the Stage environment:

    1. Chat Text 

  4. Copy the Dev Text answer and paste it within the Voice tab in two sections in Stage:

    1. Say Text 

    2. Reprompt 

  5. Save the Fact

  6. Open the Dev Chatbot to review the updated answer appearance in chatbot 

  

To split into a separate bubble, insert a page break in the Chat Text window 

Add a space after a paragraph to get a space to appear within a chat bubble in the Chat Text window 

  

FAQ Hub 

  1. Open Dev 

  2. Create > Answers > KB > Fact 

  3. Answer 

  4. Text - update here first 

  5. Copy text answer 

  6. Paste in Voice - 2 locations 

    1. Say Text 

    2. Reprompt 

  7. Save 

Add Utterances or New Fact with utterances

Do not test 

Deployment

Publish 

  

If a Voice skill also publish for Alexa 

  

Export/Import 

  

3 dots on the KB to export, 

Click export 

File will appear in downloads 

  

Open environment that needs the new KB 

Open Answers 

Click three dots for KB that needs new import 

Click Import 

Drop file into window 

Click "reset and upload" check box 

Click "upload" 

If deploying for FAQ Hub - open and save answers for carousel

Publish

Can click the up/down arrows to get bulk load window for easy utterance additions
