Pasting the controls

  • We will be able to paste the copied controls on the same canvas or in some other Flow studio canvas within the same environment.

  • Go to the destination flow studio canvas, click within the canvas space. Press Ctrl/ Command + V. We will see the copied controls on the canvas. Place them properly.

  • If the content is too large for the page to be viewed, click on the canvas resize button in the bottom section.

Points to note:

  • The copy/paste action only works within the same browser tab.

  • The controls cannot be pasted into a different environment by this method. To do that, we need to export the flow data from the Flow studio listing screen or from the Project level and then import it into the destination project. After that, we can copy the controls within that environment.
