Image and font specifications

  • Echo Show image display image sizes are listed in the template tables. Echo Spot images are scaled-down as appropriate.

  • The cumulative file size of all images in the skill should not exceed 3 MB.

  • Titles can have up to 200 characters.

  • Each template allows limited text on the screen (based on a 32 px font size), which if exceeded is truncated on the screen display. The user cannot scroll to see the remaining text. Adjust this limit if you use larger fonts.

  • Most templates allow hints, which you can use for optional content and to delight customers, and not for important information.
